Brian Wagahoff was saved at the age of twelve at Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Raymond, Il under the preaching of an evangelist who had come to preach in the church where his Dad pastored. Several years later, he surrendered to the call to preach during a tent meeting under Dr. Jack Parchman. Brian and his wife, Dixie, have had the opportunity to serve in several different churches in many different capacities. They served together in full time service as youth director for five years and as an associate pastor for six years.
Bro. Brian and his family first became members of Faith Baptist Church in Joplin, Mo in December 2008 as they became active in visiting, helping remodel, leading singing, and serving as treasurer. Brian worked a full time job in Carthage helping in every area at the church that he could. In May of 2011, the church was hit with an EF-5 tornado on a Sunday evening before services. Brian’s family, along with the Pastor at the time, were in the building when the tornado hit. In August of 2011, Brian quit his job at the factory he was working to work full time for the church in an effort to help them rebuild the parsonage and the church building. The church was able to open the doors to a new building in February of 2013. In August of that same year, Brian and his family left Faith Baptist and moved to Tulsa to serve as Associate Pastor.
Brian and his family returned to Faith Baptist Church in October of 2019 to take on the role of Pastor.
Pastor Wagahoff and his wife Dixie were married August 11, 1995 and have four children: Bret of Searcy, AR (age 22), Courtney (Hughes) of Springfield, MO (age 20), Brice (age 18), and Carrie (age 15).
