Our Pastor

Brian Wagahoff was saved at the age of twelve at Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Raymond, Il. Several years later, he surrendered to the call to preach during a tent meeting under Dr. Jack Parchman. Brian and his wife, Dixie, have had the opportunity to serve in several different churches in many different capacities. Both Brian and Dixie came from Pastor’s homes and they have had the chance to serve under each. They also served together in full time service as youth director for five years and as an associate pastor for six years before taking the Pastorate at Faith.

Bro. Brian and his family first came to Faith Baptist Church in Joplin, Mo in December 2008, where they served in several capacities. In May of 2011, the church was hit with an EF-5 tornado on a Sunday evening before services. Brian’s family, along with the Pastor at the time, were in the building when the tornado hit. In August of 2011, Brian quit his factory job to work full time for the church to help them rebuild the parsonage and the church building. The church was able to open the doors to a new building in February of 2013. In October of that same year, Brian and his family left Faith Baptist Church and moved to Tulsa to serve as Associate Pastor at Southwest Baptist Church of Tulsa.

Brian and his family returned to Faith Baptist Church in October of 2019 to take on the role of Pastor.

Pastor Wagahoff and his wife Dixie were married August 11, 1995, and have four children, two grandsons, and two granddaughters: Bret, their eldest, lives in Bradford, AR with his wife Anna and their daughters Ava and Lola. Courtney, their second born, along with her husband Nathan Hughes and their sons Hudson and Buckley, live in Joplin, MO and serve at Faith Baptist Church.
